Trying out a new feature of Substack. I like what Substack is attempting. It seems to be trying to set up a healthier alternative to social media, one that is not driven by algorithms, but by what real human beings actually decide to follow and recommend to one another; and one where writers and podcasters can earn a living through subscriptions rather than advertising.
I just created this chat space, and posted one question: what about farming would you like to see me write about? Please join in if you feel this would be of value to you. Here’s what Substack says about it:

How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
