RFKs list of conspiracies are quite a bit longer, and it's hard to trust a guy who can throw himself at either Harris or Trump. Still, his agenda around healthy food resonates with me. Pesticides are strongly linked to Parkinson's, a condition I have. Maybe some good can come of this otherwise lamentable administration.
I think he's trying to work within a broken political system. He ran for the Democratic nomination and failed. He ran as an independent and failed. The next best thing is to try to gain influence within either party, and fold his priorities into their coalition. This is how politics works in the US. I don't think we can fault the guy for trying to play the game as it is designed to be played. And god knows the US needs less polarization, and a person who can work with either side should probably be welcomed.
As for his conspiracy theories, I agree he seems to have a conspiratorial bent. But then again, if my uncle was assassinated, and then my father was assassinated, when I was 14, and there were all these questions around the circumstances surrounding their deaths, I would probably have a conspiratorial bent, too!
